Originating in 2017, Benchmark was founded by co-owner Mark Small. Being a Red Seal carpenter, after years of operating in the residential construction industry across multiple countries, Mark was ready to take the next step into business ownership. In 2018, co-owner and brother, Kent Small, joined as a University of New Brunswick business graduate. Since then, the team has been setting a new Benchmark in terms of quality, customer experience, and overall professionalism in the Fredericton and Halifax areas.

Cleanliness and punctuality are two crucial aspects of any successful renovation experience. We recognize that in most cases, the client is living in the home during the renovation. We fully understand and respect that we are in your space, and implement controls to keep the process as comfortable and seamless as possible for you.
