Mark and Kent recently built a truly awesome 12 x 16 family room addition to my 130 year old brick home. Every step was done in a timely and professional manner and I was particularly happy that they devoted themselves to each phase of the project to completion with only minor delays for weather. Detailed plans and costs were provided to me in advance …. the quality of materials and workmanship was excellent and there was no cost over run. On top of all that Mark and Kent were so well mannered and pleasant that they were a delight to have around! I certainly recommend Benchmark and hope to have them back in 2019 to do more! 🙂
We hired Benchmark Building and Renovations to help us with some minor upgrades as we prepare our home for sale. Mark and Kent were very prompt in repsonding to our questions and were able to work with the budget we had in mind. They were quick, efficient and very professional with their work. We love the upgrades, espcially the tilework in the kitchen and we hope prospective buyers will too. Thanks guys!
Mark, Kent and Thanoj, Benchmark Building and Renovations, proved to be a competent, trustworthy and a talented crew! Together they built a 14×16 deck, installed a sliding door, and did the finish work. Benchmark came when they said they would, did what they said they would and came in within the estimate they provided. They cleaned up after themselves everyday and completed the reno with a complete clean up. The crew was pleasant to work with, they consulted with each other to problem solve and they communicated well. As my deck is 13 feet off the ground and I am only able to push snow rather that shovel it, Benchmark build my railings with a removable snow board on the bottom to ease with snow clearance in the winter. Genius! And it looked great! The deck is beautiful and the slider works the way that it should. Overall, I am completely satisfied with Mark and his crew. They were professional, creative and clearly knew what they were doing. I am enjoying my deck! I highly recommend Benchmark.

Benchmark Building and Renovations were recommended to us to help build a 1-bedroom basement suite in our rental bungalow in Fredericton. And they did not disappoint. Kent and Mark not only delivered a very fine product but also managed all the trades involved. The suite was so nice that it was quickly snapped up and tenants moved in before all the finishing touches had been completed! Although we live on the west coast and could not travel to NB to oversee the project due to Covid, this was the most trouble-free renovation project we had ever undertaken. Kent and Mark were very transparent as the project progressed and provided photos and videos every step of the way. Thus, issues were addressed promptly. Mark and Kent completed a feature wall with fireplace and mantle as well as renovated our entryway. We couldn’t be more happy with how these projects turned out! Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was exceptional. They were extremely open to our ideas and truly turned our vision into reality, beyond our expectations. In a time where customer service seems to be an afterthought for a lot of businesses, Benchmark has been a breath of fresh air as they were always responsive, proactive and looked after every detail from start to finish. 100% recommend and will certainly give them a call for any future renos or upgrades! Mark and Kent were timely, efficient, and great to communicate with for the project we had done to the house. We took out an entire wall and expanded my son’s room and added wall to wall shelving to maximize storage and it turned out beautifully. They did an incredible job and we would happily hire Benchmark for future projects! 10/10 recommend!

Mark was very helpful with planning and finding a solution that worked for us. When the project began they were very punctual and always left the job site tidy. We’ve had Benchmark do two big projects for us- an indoor reno + bathroom remodel and a deck overhaul.
Throughout both projects Mark and the Benchmark team have been incredible. They are excellent communicators, making sure we were aligned with every element of the project. Every day the job site is left neat and tidy and they are incredibly productive, hard workers.
The end product speaks for itself but it’s really about the effort they put into doing things right. Their craftsmanship is so impressive and gives us such long-term confidence in the quality and longevity of the work.
We will continue going back to them for our projects.

Mark, Kent and crew ( carpenters; Joel, Keiran and Luke, Plumbers; Grant and Steve, Electrician; Brennan ) were all amazing folks to work with. They made my ensuite enlargement vision come true. Mark and Kent even took my graph paper design and my online purchases and installed them beautifully to create an oasis of an ensuite! Bravo gentlemen!
Every crew member was courteous, kind and ever so polite. It was a real pleasure having them come into our home to enlarge our master bedroom ensuite. They are very professional with high quality and incredible results!
Everyday, had a goal for tasks and the crew kept to their timeline. I was worried about living in our space during construction but my fears were quickly put to rest as they installed a screen wall barricade and cleaned up everyday so we could even sleep in our Master bedroom every night! Sooo, thoughtful. Thanks for that, Mark and Kent.

Benchmark just completed a bathroom reno in a unit we own in a condo building. They did a fantastic job and the end results were lovely. They were punctual, quiet and had wonderful customer service. Their workmanship was excellent. I would certainly recommend them to anyone doing renos! I will certainly have them do more renos for me in the future!
